CRCHUM administers the research funds of researchers at the Centre, as well as a fund earmarked for infrastructure and operations, for a total of $73.1M in 2015-2016, nine percent more than the previous year. Strict administration of these funds optimizes the direct investment in research.
In addition to direct funding for projects, several institutions contribute to the development of research projects through direct funding of CRCHUM. Over the past fiscal year, the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) has contributed $3.6M to the development of infrastructure, operations and support for researchers. The Fondation du CHUM has also committed $1.8 million for new developments and recruitments.
We gratefully acknowledge all funding bodies and partners that support our innovative research programs.
